Matah Souce |
Matah sauce is the favorite sauce in Bali. This sauce
usually consumes to be complement of fried duck (especially in Bali).
If you
want to try to make it, here they are the recipes:
Ingredients:
3 cloves of
lemongrass (sliced)
10 red chilies
(sliced)
15 red
onions (sliced)
3 garlics
(sliced)
5 leaves of
lime (sliced)
5
tablespoons of lemon juice
2 teaspoons
of shrimp paste (roasted then mashed)
6 tablespoons of frying oil
2½ teaspoons
of salt
How to make
it:
The first step you need to heat the cooking oil
on the frying pan. Then add all of ingredients above while you stir it. It just
needs for about 2-3 minutes (don’t take too long when you are frying this
sauce).
Is the 15 onions right? Seems like a lot...
